You had me at the Yoke

This is such a fun skirt with just enough details to keep things interesting! I made mine in a mid-weight line, so there was a bit of structure, giving it a true A-line silhouette. I absolutely love that look right now. I also think it would be beautiful in a lighter-weight fabric, for a different look. The fabric when together smoothly. The instructions are great and the fit is just as expected. I think this is a great pattern!!

Gimme an A!

I've been watching the serpent and Gypsy on Netflix recently and was admiring the A line silhouette which is so typically 70s. Imagine my delight to find this pattern being introduced, fulfilling my 70s inspired skirt fixation. This is such as quick project for me. From cut to sew, I took less than 3 hours to complete. The instructions were really clear and straightforward. The only fit adjustment that I had to make was to shorten the skirt for my height. I really love the pockets and yoke detail. It adds a bit of interest to an A line skirt as well as anchoring the top of the pocket. I'm hoping to get hold of some needlecord for another version. This is definitely an A in my books!
