I made a top and dress so far. It is relatively easy and quick (though I am slow, took me a day to stitch a dress). I love all the details... gathered shoulder, gathered yoke, and a lovely v neck. The fit is spot on, the instruction is easy to follow. I absolutely love my Jills, I am happy to use up all my special fabric for this pattern, truly beautiful.
I love the style of this dress, and the gathered details front and back are a pretty touch. This is exactly what I want to wear in warm weather, something that floats around me for lots of air flow and movement.
I usually prefer my garments fitted but this looked like such a beautiful summer dress that I thought to try. N turned out I absolutely love it!
It was so comfy, there was no gaping n I think I'm a convert! I need to make all the comfy loose summer dresses now. I've made a top and 2 dresses and I've another fabric planned for the 3rd dress!
Jill is a great pattern: easy to sew and so flattering on every body.
I did a top and a tunic already and I 'm looking for a nice drapey fabric to sew the dress. I feel so free wearing this!
Instructions are simple and straightforward, pattern is true to fit.
